Cloud software provider Infor has developed a new cloud native multi-tenant solution for fashion enterprises.
The Infor Fashion Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Cloud is delivered as a cloud service and offers an enhanced security infrastructure and competitive cost of ownership versus on-premise in a single-version software package, the company says.
Infor Fashion PLM Cloud is designed to provide a foundation for applying the latest digital technologies to the fashion product development process and supports the centralisation of product design and development activities through more streamlined collaboration. Running on Infor OS technology, Fashion PLM offers customers a scalable, flexible solution that can support rapid roll out as a business grows and evolves.
Delivered as a cloud service subscription, according to Infor, Fashion PLM virtually eliminates the need for future additional hardware, local configuration and support resources, since new innovations are delivered without the need for major upgrades, which can help save time and lower the overall cost of ownership. Infor OS enables social collaboration between internal users including designers, technical product specialists, merchandisers, and sourcing, as well as external vendor users, which can help increase overall productivity. Furthermore, a simple and intuitive user experience is designed to make Fashion PLM Cloud easy to learn and use.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer one of the first of its kind cloud-native, multi-tenant PLM for large fashion enterprises,” says Corey Tollefson, senior vice president and general manager, Infor Retail. “We are working to create innovative solutions that make doing business smarter and easier for our customers. Adding PLM to our CloudSuite offerings allows Infor to deliver a highly efficient, scalable environment to our customers that can help give them the ability to work anywhere, any time, on any device, including Apple’s latest macOS.”
Infor Fashion PLM Cloud was made initially available for standalone provisioning from last month and as an option with CloudSuite Fashion planned for November.
