By implementing this standard, Interloop aims to reduce its water footprint and tackle shared water challenges through initiatives such as maintaining sustainable water balances, ensuring good water governance, and protecting key water-related areas.

Interloop’s water stewardship initiatives include:

  • Nanobubble technology reduces water use by 90%, chemicals by 71%, and energy consumption by 50%,
  • The company’s denim UP system uses 70% less water than traditional washing processes,
  • Reuse of water from chemical auto-dosing saves 8000 litres/day,
  • Water recirculation in spray booths conserves 4800 litres/day,
  • WASH Programme: Clean water, sanitation, and hygiene at Rosa Girls School,
  • Drinking Water Plant for the community at Social Security Hospital.
