ITALY: Fashion Industry Disgusted By ‘Nazi’ Design
The audience at Rome's Fashion Circus show were appalled by one designer's use of the swastika – a Nazi symbol – as a theme for his new collection. The usually unshockable fashion world hit out at Francesco Babaro and his misplaced attempt to gain publicity. One fashion director, Ollie Picton-Jones, said it was unbelievable anyone in the industry could think such a ploy would garner any support.
