Speakers from industry heavyweights PVH Corp, Calik Denim, The Lycra Company, and Artistic Milliners will be among the line-up at the second edition of the online-only Kingpins24 event next week.
Due to focus on product-related information from mills and manufacturers, the upcoming edition will target the US denim market and builds upon the success of the first Kingpins24 event last month, which drew nearly 10,000 visitors to its website and saw nearly 29,000 views of its on-demand content.
Julien Born, apparel president at The Lycra Company will kick off proceedings on the opening day, before an expert panel including Conscious Fashion Campaign founder Kerry Bannigan and Cem Ozan Sari, senior product development executive at Calik Denim, will discuss circularity in design.
Also on the agenda for the first day is an interview with Hakan Anuk of Calik Denim by Andrew Olah, founder of Kingpins Show and Transformers Foundation, discussing US brands investing back in Turkey. A second interview will also be conducted with Nicolas Prophte, vice president of PVH Corp’s Global Denim Center.
The second day includes a panel entitled ‘Future Truthing Sustainable Cotton’ and a conversation between supply chain partners Everlane and Orta.
