The partnership solidifies both parties’ dedication to creating a robust alternative for the apparel industry, which currently faces challenges such as excessive production, unanticipated discounting, and logistical inefficiencies.
The collaboration is designed to enhance the capabilities of MAS’s clientele, including retailers and brands, by facilitating the adoption of data-driven methodologies in fashion production, thereby increasing both sustainability and profitability.
Kornit explains that by combining its digital on-demand manufacturing know-how with MAS’s experience in supply chain management and advanced data analytics, brands can more effectively meet consumer demand.
The brands will be able to execute weekly production runs within the US to maintain optimal inventory levels at retail outlets. This approach aims to reduce excess stock, enhance the rate of full-price sales, and liberate working capital by minimising waste, Kornit said.
MAS, a player in fashion and sportswear apparel manufacturing, works with brands such as Victoria’s Secret, PVH, Gap, Marks & Spencer, and Nike. It claims to be one of the largest apparel technology companies in South Asia.
Kornit Digital chief executive officer Ronen Samuel stated: “Fashion is the world’s oldest, largest, most complex supply chain, yet it is fundamentally broken and riddled with inefficiency—we believe the need for change is urgent. This strategic agreement offers the industry a proven alternative to overproduction, waste, and disrupted supply chains.

By GlobalData“Kornit and MAS ACME USA share a common thread, a commitment to ‘make fashion better.’ I am delighted to see Kornit’s industry-leading on-demand solutions paired with MAS’ pioneering approach to supply chains and manufacturing data diagnostics. Together, we unlock what the industry needs – a clear pathway to more responsible, profitable, and agile fashion production.”
The partnership aims to address the lack of responsiveness and long lead times that plague traditional fashion supply chains by enabling agile, local on-demand production that meets real-time needs.
Brands will also be able to quickly adapt to market trends, resulting in higher revenues through reduced missed sales and markdowns while lowering inventory costs.
The collaboration fosters a responsible on-demand production model driven by data. This model is designed to meet consumer demands for product availability without relying on large inventories. It significantly reduces waste and associated costs while promoting sustainability.
MAS ACME USA CEO Brad Ballentine said: “Kornit’s digital production systems were exactly the solution we needed to realize our vision of onshore, fully demand driven production to meet the market needs expeditiously.
“We share a common vision to build a global supply chain capability that offers unprecedented flexibility and the power to transform the fashion industry into a smarter, more efficient engine. We are thrilled to announce this agreement and excited to start digital production for our customers in the US market.”
In March this year, MAS Holdings revealed plans to commence production at its first facility in Bhuinpur, Odisha, India in 2026.
