Jeremy Pee has been named Marks & Spencer’s new chief digital and data officer as the UK retail group looks to ramp up its digital capabilities.
Pee, currently senior vice president of Loblaw Co., will commence his new role on 3 December. His role involves leading the business strategy to shape M&S’ digital capabilities and drive its digital innovation agenda.

The appointment follows a series of technology-focused partnerships with Microsoft, Founders Factory, Decoded and True.

Last month, M&S revealed it has begun using consumer-driven predictive analytics to make design, buying and pricing decisions on a wide range of its products.
