The new smart body measurement software development kit (MySizeID SDK) provides accurate measurement capabilities, while a 30% increase in compression also allows for faster sizing recommendations. It can be embedded into any company’s existing or white label mobile app.

The Israel-based company’s technology uses algorithms rather than the smartphone camera to record and document body measurements, which also maintains and ensures customer privacy. It was awarded its first patent in September of last year for it’s ‘Measurement of a Body Part’ app.
Using MySizeID SDK enables a retailer’s customers to build a fit profile of their personal body measurements that will produce size recommendations in-app for appropriate fitting apparel, the firm says, helping to decrease size-based returns and increases customer loyalty.”
The new tool also enables retailers to upload their sizing charts to the cloud, where they are compared against user measurements to recommend sizing for specific apparel items.
Smartphones are an integral tool to online retail, with 62% of smartphone users globally having made an online purchase using a mobile device within the last six months. The availability of My Size Body for iOS will make MySizeID available to more than 700m iPhone users worldwide – with Android devices set to follow in the near future.
