A new sourcing platform has been launched that brings buyers and suppliers in the denim and sportswear supply chain together.

Developed to bridge the gap between both sides of the supply chain, the De-Brands app claims to help reduce the cost and time of sourcing and marketing.

“This is an important step in taking the business of our denim community online,” says Sandeep Agarwal, founder of Denimsandjeans, which developed the app. “We hope we can make a small contribution in making business more easy and sustainable.”

The app enables suppliers to showcase their products to buyers, and for both to interact with each other. It also includes features that allow users to create their own “showrooms,” along with tools for one-to-one interaction with buyers and better networking among the community.

Available to download for iPhone in the App Store now, De-Brands already features products from denim companies including Raymonds, Prosperity, Crescent, and Anubha, according to Denimsandjeans. A release for Android devices is due to become available shortly.
