The company has also committed to incorporating any new suppliers into the platform moving forward.
Using TrusTrace, New Look is said to be equipped to oversee and organise supplier information with increased precision and detail. This means the retailer can comprehensively assess and quantify the social and environmental implications of its sourcing strategies, while also ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory mandates.
New Look ESG, quality and sourcing head Sue Fairley said: “At New Look we are always looking at ways we can digitally innovate to improve our operations and enhance our sourcing strategy. We were one of the first UK fashion brands to partner with TrusTrace and two years on we have onboarded all of our core suppliers.
“This is a significant milestone for us and a testament to the collaboration and commitment of our supplier community. With TrusTrace, we can confidently trace our products back through the value chain, support our sustainability goals and ensure we’re operating in a way that’s transparent and accountable.”
New Look explains that the data gleaned from these analyses are channelled into its in-house Enterprise Data Platform, facilitating prompt and effective modifications to its supply chain operations.

This strategic move follows recent investments by New Look, including an injection of £30m ($39m) from shareholders to expedite its digital transformation initiatives.
These funds are earmarked for enhancing online customer experiences as well as improving in-store interactions.
The investment is poised to bolster New Look’s next growth phase by strategically allocating resources across four key domains to establish itself as the premier online destination for feel-good fashion.
