The new offering, made with Recover’s recycled cotton fibre, is designed to support brands as they shift to more sustainable products while maintaining standards for quality, scalability, and speed.

Recover CEO Anders Sjöblom said: “Recover Fabrics is not just another product launch; it’s about helping brands make sustainability the easy choice without compromising on quality.

“For example, we recently developed a high-end tailored suit with dramatically lower carbon and water use, in a quality built to last for years. That’s the kind of innovation this platform will deliver at scale.”

Recover’s four collections

Recover Fabrics comprises more than 50 fabrics across four collections, ranging from basic items to high-end textiles. The collections include Elite, Premier, Core, and Essential Denim.

According to Recover, each fabric is produced by blending the company’s recycled cotton fibres with materials from advanced mills.

The Elite Collection was jointly created with TMG in Portugal and is focused on woven textiles suitable for overshirts, jackets and outerwear. These fabrics are designed to meet durability and performance requirements that are often associated with premium garments.

The Premier Collection, produced alongside Textil Santanderina in Spain, features woven offerings geared towards items such as chinos, jackets, and overshirts, providing options ideal for varied apparel applications.

The Core Collection delivers everyday essentials made from the company’s RCotton recycled fibre, including jersey knits, fleece, T-shirts, hoodies and sweatpants. It provides brands with basic textile components required for their product lines.

Meanwhile, the Essential Denim Collection delivers denim fabrics intended for jeans and jackets, aimed at reducing environmental impact within this widely used apparel category.

In addition to these collections, Recover introduced Recover Blanks, a range of unbranded ready-to-wear basics that includes t-shirts, hoodies, sweaters and joggers.

This range is intended for customers who require pre-designed products manufactured from recycled fibres.

Advancing the development of circular textiles

With this initiative, Recover is seeking to address several challenges present in the global textile supply chain.

The company says its Recover Fabrics platform provides a “traceable, scalable, and low-impact solution” that helps navigate challenges like certification requirements, supply chain complexity and quality standard inconsistency.

Last month, Recover joined the T2T Alliance, an association of advanced textile recyclers campaigning for policy changes to speed up the circularity in the textile sector.
