Luxury fashion label Lanvin has collaborated with clothing retailer H&M to create the company’s latest designer collection of men’s wear and women’s wear.

Designed by Lanvin artistic director Alber Elbaz and men’s wear designer Lucas Ossendrijver, the new range goes on sale on 23 November, after being unveiled through a film on the H&M website on 2 November.

“I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public,” said Elbaz.

“It is very much a Lanvin collection, using their cut and tailoring, with lots of focus on form and details for both women and men,” added Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M.

The collection follows previous ranges designed for the retailer by Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Comme des Garçons and Sonia Rykiel.
