THAILAND: China Worldbest Invests $117m In New Factories
The vice-president of textile giant China Worldbest Group on Wednesday confirmed his company would invest $117 million in four new factories in Thailand as it looks to establish a major foothold in the country.
Qian Feng said his firm will build a cotton yarn mill with an annual output of 60,000 yarn spindles; a spinning mill producing 4,000 tonnes of yarn; a household textile plant with a capacity of 15 million metres of yarn; and a citric acid unit with a capacity of 30,000 tonnes.
