TURKEY: Businessman To Invest Millions In New Syrian Factory
Up to 300 new jobs are set to be created at a new textile plant in Syria after a Turkish businessman announced plans to invest $8 million in the construction of a new factory.
Ahmet Mutafoglu will set up the textile plant in Halep, northern Syria, later this year. He already owns acrylic yarn producer Akteks Tekstil, based in south east Turkey which exports most its products to Arab nations.
