UK: Levi’s Slated For £2.5m TV Ad After Job Cuts
Less than two weeks since it announced it was to axe 647 Scottish jobs, US-owned clothing firm Levi Strauss has been criticised for spending £2.5million on Britain's most expensive TV advert. Mike McMahon, MSP for Hamilton North and Bellshill, described the jeans giant's actions as "a slap in the face for Scottish workers."
