US children’s wear maker Carter’s has recalled 218,000 pieces of infant clothing because the zipper pull can detach, posing a choking risk to young children.
No incidents or injuries have been reported yet, according to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
The one-piece footed clothing items were manufactured in China, and were available in eight styles and in sizes newborn, three, six and nine months under the Baby B’gosh, ‘Child of Mine made by Carter’s’, or ‘Just One You made by Carter’s’ labels.
They were sold at OshKosh B’gosh, Walmart and Target stores across the US from December 2012 to January 2013 for US$7-20.
