School uniform brand French Toast is running a contest called Show Us The Real ‘U’ In Uniform to bolster sales during the vital back-to-school period.
The contest is open to all children who attend a school with a dress code, with a grand prize is $10,000 in cash, plus $5,000 in school uniform vouchers for the winner’s school.
Video submissions – which must include some footage of the student in his/her school uniform – can be a maximum of two minutes in length. Alternatively, students can submit written essays, which can be a maximum of 300 words and must be accompanied by at least one picture of the child in uniform.
Michael Arking, president of French Toast, said: “We’ve seen some great submissions so far, and I’m sure we’ll see many more high-quality entries over the next few weeks. I especially want to thank our many retail partners who have helped to make children and their parents aware of the contest.”
