US apparel firm Perfection Uniforms, which makes police and fire uniforms, has been acquired from Ancienne Chemise/Claude Goulet by senior management.

The buyout is through a holding company, SteveCo, controlled by executives Steven D Olesky and Steven M Gilkeson.

Investment capital supporting the transaction was provided by a European financial investor as well as a strategic industry investor, a statement said. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Olesky, president/CEO of Perfection Uniforms, said: “We now have the opportunity, and, more importantly, the means to realise our full potential. We thank Goulet for a favourable purchase arrangement, and we are very grateful to our investors for their support and for their recognition and understanding of our vision for the future growth of Perfection Uniforms.”
