Premium formal and casual wear supplier Smart Shirts, and German chemicals supplier Trumpler Group are among the latest additions to the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) group’s value chain affiliates.
While sewing and embroidery thread major American & Efird (A&E), which is now part of the Elevate Textiles portfolio of brands, is raising its contribution to group level.

By joining the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme, the companies commit to its vision of widespread implementation of sustainable chemistry – and bring the total number of ZDHC Contributors to 138. Its signatory brands include Adidas, Benetton, C&A, Gap Inc, H&M and Inditex.
Trumpler Group supplies chemicals to the leather industry worldwide, with its traditional strengths in beamhouse chemicals, retanning agents, fat liquors and dyes further augmented by the acquisition of Langro-Chemie, the producer of leather finishes.
Smart Shirts is a subsidiary company of Sunrise Group, a multinational corporation with an integrated vertical supply chain from yarn spinning, fabric weaving and finishing, garment manufacturing, to import and export trading. Sunrise is a leading designer and manufacturer of premium formal and casual wear, and owns sales networks across Hong Kong, New York, Dallas, Seattle, London, Shanghai, Changsha, Zhejiang and Vietnam.
