Asos, established in 2000, serves a customer base of 18 million across more than 200 markets, offering a variety of fashion items under labels such as Asos Design, Arrange, Collusion, Topshop, and Topman.

The fashion company is implementing TrusTrace's AI-powered platform to enhance its ‘Fashion with Integrity’ strategy, aiming for real-time supply chain transparency, including visibility at the farm level (Tier 5).

This move will allow Asos to “streamline” risk management, compliance, and impact assessment processes.

It will also provide quick access to reliable data for informed decision-making and adherence to due diligence standards.

Asos products EVP Elena Martínez Ortiz said: “Our partnership with TrusTrace is a key milestone in our updated Fashion with Integrity programme. TrusTrace enables us to improve product traceability, helping us meet compliance standards, understand and address risks, and boost resilience in our supply chain by supporting our suppliers to implement improvements.”

TrusTrace's solution is designed to offer supply chain mapping from Tier 1 to Tier 5 producers and product-level traceability with verified material information from origin to end product.

It provides centralised management of compliance documentation responsive to “dynamic” global standards.

The platform also offers customisable analytics and reporting tools that facilitate supplier cooperation and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosures.

The scalable technology from TrusTrace is expected to deliver Asos’s long-term objectives by providing a secure and adaptable infrastructure that can evolve with business expansion and changing regulatory requirements.

TrusTrace CEO and co-founder Shameek Ghosh said: “Asos’s decision to partner with TrusTrace reflects a growing industry shift toward data-driven accountability and ethical transparency. Our platform will empower Asos with high-resolution supplier data, centralise documentation, and seamlessly integrate with existing systems to streamline and future-proof compliance and sustainability efforts.”

Earlier this year, another UK fashion entity New Look incorporated all its principal suppliers into the TrusTrace digital platform to reinforce its commitment to supply chain transparency and responsibility.
