The announcement, made through a LinkedIn post, did not disclose the financial details of the transaction.

"We’re excited to announce that Browzwear has acquired Lalaland.ai. As pioneers in AI-generated fashion models, the Lalaland team brings deep expertise in both artificial intelligence and fashion, with a strong foundation in VStitcher and years of hands-on experience at the intersection of technology and design,” Browzwear said in the post.

Lalaland.ai was established in 2019 by entrepreneurs Michael Musandu and Ugnius Rimša with the goal of fostering an inclusive, sustainable, and diverse design chain.

Lalaland.ai offers a cost-effective alternative to traditional photoshoots through its model-generating tool, which enables users to replicate high-quality photoshoots with ease.

The platform allows for customisation of models to match customer profiles or specific body types, enhancing personalisation.

This approach aims to increase sales while decreasing return rates, costs, and waste, ultimately offering a more inclusive shopping experience for consumers.

The company employs between 11 to 50 individuals and has 89 associated members according to its LinkedIn profile.

In June 2022, Lalaland.ai raised €2.1m in a pre-Series-A funding round to support its commercial expansion.

Levi Strauss & Co entered into a collaboration with LaLaLand.ai in 2023 to pilot its technology as a means to augment its use of human models. The initiative aims to expand the quantity and variety of models representing its products in a sustainable manner.

Browzwear, which is based in Singapore, specialises in 3D fashion design software, 3D fashions development software, 3D merchandising software and others. Its suite of tools includes VStitcher, Stylezone, FAB, and Lotta.

In January this year, Browzwear partnered with Discover e-Solutions (DeSL) to streamline textile and apparel digital product development within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
