The event, which FLA has announced as its new annual flagship summit, aims to bring together representatives from brands, unions, civil society groups and universities for a three-day programme focused on addressing labour conditions in global supply chains.

Panels, roundtables, collaborative workshops and networking sessions will form part of the invitation-only agenda.

The summit will also include meetings for FLA caucuses and committees, the 2026 Collegiate Programmes Annual Meeting, and an open session of the FLA Board of Directors.

In addition, the summit will provide opportunities for attendees to discuss a range of labour issues, such as responsible purchasing practices and managing heat stress in factories and farms.

FLA president and CEO Jeff Vockrodt said: “This is a crucial time for shaping smart, effective, practical human rights due diligence across supply chains. We are excited to establish the annual Fair Labor Global Summit, where we’ll bring together FLA members, affiliates, project partners, and other key stakeholders to collaborate on new ways of advancing human rights, while also convening our members’ cross-constituency work that has been core to FLA’s model and governance since our founding. FLA members, affiliates, and partners are leaders at a time when leadership is needed, and we look forward to making this summit an annual opportunity to innovate and move our collective work forward.”

The FLA operates as an international network comprised of companies, universities and civil society organisations with the objective of promoting human rights at work by ensuring fair pay and protecting worker health and safety worldwide.

In August last year, FLA introduced a toolkit aimed to help companies with the creation and management of effective grievance systems.
