Bricks’ new role with M&S will commence in November.

In an internal memo seen by Just Style, M&S said Bricks has a strong track record of transforming the store experience to elevate standards and combine operational excellence with brand vision at scale.”

“Paula’s role is critical to our plans to reshape fashion, home and beauty for growth and she will work hand-in-glove with John and the fashion, home and beauty leadership team, and store operations, to transform and elevate the store experience for customers, ensure the end-to-end supply chain is seamless and efficient with a ‘right first time’ mentality and far less pre-retailing, and move from a multi-channel to an omnichannel offer. Paula will spend her first two months on induction in store, supporting us through peak, before starting fully in January.”

At the end of last month, Marks & Spencer (M&S) announced its first clothing resale venture by teaming up with e-commerce marketplace eBay, with an aim to prolong the wearability of M&S products while addressing textile waste by rehoming quality used items.

Earlier this year M&S introduced a one-year quality guarantee on all children’s clothing lines, excluding footwear and accessories.
