The seminar series, which runs alongside Future Fabrics Expo 2025 will provide a platform for industry leaders, brands, and innovators to echo the solutions presented throughout the event.

On the first day of the event (24 June), a panel will discuss 'International Trade: Global perspective and how a just transition can be achieved.'

This session will examine the broader context of international trade and its transition towards sustainability. Another session will focus on how designers are integrating circularity into their work and will feature insights from Yesmin Jones Henry of The Lab E20.

A key discussion titled "On the road to COP30: how can the fashion industry be a climate solution" will feature Muchanneta Kapfunde of Innovate Shape, Melina Nehra of Globe Legislators, Abbie Morris of Compare Ethics, Amy Powney of AKYN, and Stephanie Downs of Uncaged Innovations.

Additionally, enhancing supply chain resilience amid climate change will be another critical topic.

On the second day of the event (25 June), discussions will delve into bio-based feedstocks and reducing reliance on petrochemicals with contributions from Amy Congdon of Biofabricate, Mohammadreza Naeimirad from Senbis, Natalie Ashdown from Evoco, and Daniel Kaute from Evoralis.

Conversations will also cover regenerative agriculture with contributions from Helen Crowley of Nature Matters and Guiliani Ipert of Louis Vuitton.

Future Fabric Expo says 2025 will mark its largest showcase yet with more than 120 exhibitors.

New participants include RE-SOLVE Lab presenting circular solutions for fashion and interiors, LVMH Business Partners Showcase featuring sustainable luxury initiatives, the Berlin Innovators Hub spotlighting local innovators, and the Innovation Hive connecting climate-focused innovators with investors.

The Expo will also display more than 10,000 sustainably produced materials categorised by fibre type, encompassing a range from regenerative natural substances and agricultural by-products to recycled synthetic materials. The display also includes man-made cellulosic fibres (MMCFs), certified organic cotton and low-impact animal-derived fibres.

Scaling Next Gen Solutions with Canopy will promote forest-free fibres, and the Footwear Hub at the expo will offer prototypes and commercial solutions that address the challenges of material complexity and waste in the footwear industry.

Launched by The Sustainable Angle in 2011, Future Fabrics Expo, is a sustainable sourcing event for innovative materials in fashion and interiors.

The event emphasises environmental preservation and regeneration while showcasing new materials to industry professionals globally each year.
