Supply chain intelligence platform Worldly has released a series of updates aimed at improving the collection and use of primary data for brands and suppliers.

These developments include the launch of the Worldly Collaboration Suite, performance upgrades in China, and the introduction of an AI-driven tool named Worldly Assistant.

The Worldly Assistant tool aims to deliver real-time responses and guidance to facility users and verification bodies.

Trained on Cascale’s Higg Index guidance alongside other relevant documentation, this tool improves accuracy and expedites completion time.

Worldly’s latest platform update also focuses on improving performance in China, which produces around one-third of global consumer goods.

The company said that it has achieved faster load times, increased stability, and an improved user experience for the tens of thousands of facilities and suppliers operating within China.

Worldly chief technology officer John Armstrong said: “We’re focused on giving suppliers the tools and performance they need to work quickly and accurately. These improvements help them complete assessments with greater confidence and significantly fewer delays.”

The updated Worldly Collaboration Suite provides clearer workflows for brands and an intuitive experience for suppliers.

According to Worldly, this has resulted in assessment completion rates above 90% among programmes using the suite alongside the company’s recommended practices.

Worldly CEO Scott Raskin said: “Everything starts with quality first-party data, and suppliers carry much of that burden. We want to make their job easier, clearer guidance, fewer steps, less frustration, while giving brands the accurate information they need to identify potential risks and make responsible decisions. These updates move us closer to that.”

In addition to these new features, Worldly has developed further products such as Insights Hub for enhanced analytics and Worldly Axion for risk management and decarbonisation efforts within supply chains.

In October this year, Worldly acquired sustainability platform GoBlu to further bolster its role in unifying operational, sustainability, and business performance data within one system.

Raskin added: “Empowering better business has always been our mission. Today, that means giving every company the intelligence to make decisions that are responsible and profitable.”
