Bristol first in UK to ban fast fashion ads on council-owned sites
The Bristol City Council has voted to prohibit advertising for fast fashion and a range of other high-carbon products on all council-managed spaces, following an almost unanimous decision by its Strategy and Resources Committee on 14 September 2026.
