Fashion sector has six-month ‘grace period’ for EU deforestation law
The European Commission has announced the EU deforestation law for large and medium companies should start on 30 December 2025, however there will be a six-month grace period for checks and enforcement and some reduced obligations for the downstream part of the supply chain.
