Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Occupations, which accounted for 18% of the total new job postings in Q3 2023 and were down by 61% year-on-year. Second highest were Sales and Related Occupations, which accounted for 15% and drop by 59% year-on-year, and third highest were Management Occupations, which were 13% of the new job postings and 58% lower year-on-year.

Top five companies in automotive industry accounted for 39% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by Redde Northgate with 519, followed by Vertu Motors with 494, while the highest increase was at Halfords Group at 16%.
