Computer and Mathematical Occupations drive automotive industry hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Computer and Mathematical Occupations, which accounted for 20% of the total new job postings in Q3 2023 and were down by 3% year-on-year. Second highest were Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which accounted for 12% and drop by 4% year-on-year, and third highest were Business and Financial Operations Occupations, which were 16% of the new job postings and 43% lower year-on-year.
Top five companies in automotive industry accounted for 83% of hiring activity
The highest number of jobs were posted by Continental with 64, followed by Robert Bosch with 52, while the highest increase was at Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche at 13%.
