adidas’s IT hiring activity declines 8.1% in May 2022

Germany-based company adidas IT hiring declined 8.1% in May 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.46% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 4.93% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2022, and recorded a 0.33% decline over the last three-month average share.


Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops adidas IT hiring in May 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by adidas, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 96.43% in May 2022, and a 48.08% drop over April 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 3.57% in May 2022, and registered flat growth. held a share of % in May 2022, a flat growth from April 2022.


Europe drives IT hiring at adidas

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global apparel IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 64.29% share, which marked a 43.75% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 21.43%, registering a 71.43% month-on-month decline. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 10.71% share and a 40% drop over April 2022.

In the fourth place was North America with a share of 3.57% and a month-on-month flat growth.

Spain commanded a leading presence in the region’s apparel industry IT hiring activity with a 60.71% share in May 2022, a 6.25% growth over April 2022. India featured next with a 17.86% share, down 76.19% over the previous month. Colombia recorded a 10.71% share, a decline of 25% compared with April 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead adidas IT hiring activity in May 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 42.86%, down by 63.64% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with a 32.14% share, a decline of 52.63% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 25% share, flat growth over April 2022.
