Top five apparel companies in Australia’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 32% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Australia’s apparel industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
Coles Group posted 34 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 3.03% over the previous month, followed by Amazon with 25 jobs and a 57.63% drop. Country Road Group with 6 IT jobs and Global Fashion Group with 2 jobs, recorded a 100% growth and a 100% growth, respectively, while Monsoon Accessorize recorded a decline of 75% with 1 job postings during August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60%, down by 28.81% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 21.43% share, registered a decline of 46.43% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 18.57% share, down 48% over July 2022.
