The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 33.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Australia’s apparel industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Coles Group posted 24 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 31.43% over the previous month, followed by Amazon with 18 jobs and a 37.93% drop. Country Road Group with 2 IT jobs and eBay with 2 jobs, recorded a 60% decline and a 100% growth, respectively, while Cotton On Australia recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.63%, down by 28.57% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 23.53% share, registered a decline of 33.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.84% share, down 66.67% over May 2022.
