The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 13.67% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

Out of the apparel industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.9% share in November 2022, recording an increase of 0.08% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 71.21% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s apparel industry during November 2022 over October 2022.

Carrefour posted 7 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a drop of 72% over the previous month, followed by Chanel with 5 jobs and a 66.67% growth. Les Mousquetaires with 3 IT jobs and Veepee with 2 jobs, recorded a 50% growth and a 91.67% decrease, respectively, while Amazon recorded a decline of 83.33% with 2 job postings during November 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.38%, down by 77.63% from October 2022. Entry Level positions with a 30.77% share, registered a decline of 50% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 3.85% share, down 90% over October 2022.
