Poland’s apparel industry registered a 4.5% drop in IT hiring activity in May 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 1.43% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
Out of the apparel industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 19.97% share in May 2022, recording an increase of 0.9% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Poland’s apparel industry’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s apparel industry in May 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 70.45% in May 2022, registering a 35.42% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 20.45% share, an increase of 12.5% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.09%, registering a 33.33% rise from April 2022.
Top five apparel companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s apparel industry during May 2022 over April 2022.
Amazon posted 24 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered a drop of 17.24% over the previous month, followed by LPP with 18 jobs and a 10% drop. Veepee with 1 IT job and NIKE with 1 jobs, recorded an 80% decline and an 85.71% decrease.
Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.82%, down by 28.57% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with a 34.09% share, registered a decline of 16.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 9.09% share, down 55.56% over April 2022.
