The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 11.94% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s apparel industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Amazon posted 3,868 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a rise of 23.93% over the previous month, followed by Walmart with 300 jobs and a 13.04% drop. Dollar Tree with 113 IT jobs and NIKE with 57 jobs, recorded a 65.02% decline and a 38.04% decrease, respectively, while eBay recorded an increase of 28.21% with 50 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 48.23%, up by 12.53% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 34.55% share, registered an increase of 12.16% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 17.14% share, down 3.41% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.09%, recording a month-on-month decline of 42.86%.
