Bamboo Rose has made a major enhancement to the materials management capabilities in its multi-enterprise platform, allowing retailers to monitor material consumption at greater levels of specificity, including colour, art and dimension.

Greater insight into materials’ availability and liability across the supply chain allows retailers to turn concepts into reality faster, while keeping costs under control, says the software provider.

Building on Bamboo Rose’s material management capabilities, the new enhancements allow retailers to project material demand across brands and markets, negotiate material pricing that meets specific demands and delivery requirements, and better manage material quotes.

Bamboo Rose says its customers, including Express, American Eagle, Lululemon, Tailored Brands, and Ascena, are all looking to materials management as a way to “infuse creativity and differentiate their products” in order to keep pace with greater personalisation and fast fashion trends.
