BELGIUM: Manufacturer Van de Velde Up 8.6 Per Cent
Women's apparel manufacturer Van de Velde saw turnover in 2001 increase 8.6 per cent to 85.2 million euro ($76.6m) compared to the same period last year. The company plans to open around 100 shops in Germany, France and Italy over the next five years, and believes this will help it double its sales by 2006.
