BRAZIL: Portugal’s Cotesi To Spend $9.4m On Textile Plant
Portuguese textile manufacturer TexteisSinteticos (Cotesi) is to invest 10.3 million euros ($9.4m) in its first Brazilian production plant in Coite, in the eastern state of Bahia. The facility will make sisal and synthetic textiles, and should be running by the end of 2002. Products will be exported to the USA, one of the Portuguese company's main markets.
