3D design and prototyping software specialist Browzwear is integrating 3D texturing and materials authoring technology from Adobe in a move aimed at boosting apparel businesses’ ability to design, visualise, and make decisions more accurately.
With Browzwear’s May edition update, designers using VStitcher and Lotta will have the freedom to upload Substance’s SBSAR-format files, whether created in Substance Designer, modified in Substance Alchemist, or downloaded from Substance Source or another platform to use in Browzwear.
Designers can customise their prints’ executions in real-time, adding from a selection of visualisation parameters including emboss, embroidery, foil print, and vintage.
The collaboration extends the application of Substance’s technology from video games and motion picture special effects into fashion, an industry where adoption of 3D is increasingly imperative.
