CANADA: Peerlees Scoops Military Uniform Deal
Leading Canadian apparel manufacturer and designer, Peerless Garments, on Thursday announced it had scooped a lucrative government military contract for 16,800 state-of-the-art cold weather camouflage uniforms.
The Winnipeg-based company said the high-tech gear protects soldiers from extreme low temperatures and features Canadian Disruptive Pattern (CADPAT) - special inks that mean the outfits cannot be detected by infra-red or night-vision goggles.
