CHINA: Cashmere Producers Set To Cash In On WTO Membership
The president of China's largest producer and exporter of cashmere garment said on Tuesday he expects demand for cashmere products to soar next year when his country joins the World Trade Organisation. Wang Linxiang, head of Erdos Cashmere Products Co Ltd, said companies like his would enjoy larger overseas sales after China joins the WTO and cashmere tariffs are gradually lifted and the quota system for textiles exports gradually eliminated.
