CHINA: Textile Exports Climb Slightly From January To August
China's combined textile imports and exports totalled $43.7 billion in the first eight months of the year - an increase of 1.75 per cent year-on-year, statistics from the General Administration of Customs reveal. Exports were up 2.43 per cent year on year, coming in at $34.6bn, while imports were down 0.71 per cent on the same period last year, at $9.1bn. Favourable trade of textile products was $25.4bn in that period.
