CHINA: Textile Industry Says Attacks Have Had “Little” Impact On Exports
Officials from the China Textile Imports and Exports Council revealed on Monday that the devastating September 11 terrorist attacks on the US had had very "little" impact on the country's textile exports. Speaking at the 90th Guangzhou Trade Fair, officials said textile exports were still strong and that any impact from the New York and Pentagon attacks would most likely by felt in the first half of 2002.
