The agenda for this year’s Copenhagen Fashion Summit is taking place with former H&M CEO Karl-Johan Persson and Robert Sinclair, president of global supply chain for Global Brands Group, among the speakers.

One of the world’s leading business forums for sustainability in fashion, Copenhagen Fashion Summit is organised by Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), a non-profit leadership forum that wants to change the way fashion is produced, marketed and consumed.

Joining Persson – who stepped down as CEO of Swedish apparel retailer H&M last week – and Sinclair as speakers are Eva Kruse, CEO of GFA; Omoyemi Akerele, founder and executive director of Lagos Fashion Week; Max Bittner, CEO of Vestiaire Collective; and Olivier Fournier, executive vice president corporate development and social affairs at Hermès International.

Also taking to the stage will be Rishi Pardal, vice president of global apparel solutions for Avery Dennison Corporation; Rick Ridgeway, vice president of public engagement at Patagonia; author Dana Thomas; and Vanessa Friedman, fashion director at The New York Times.

Along with the speaker presentation, the Summit will also host the Innovation Forum, which has been a permanent fixture at the Copenhagen Fashion Summit for the past few years, and the more recently launched Design Studio.

The Summit and Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) recently collaborated on a new business space aimed at helping small and large fashion businesses implement solutions to create greener products.

Copenhagen Fashion Summit will take place at the Copenhagen Concert Hall on 27-28 May.
