The Ellen MacArthur Foundation has joined AMCIRC as an Insights Partner, a new participation category established for select multistakeholder organisations and NGOs to advance shared goals in circularity.
The two organisations are committed to advancing circular systems for textiles in North America and globally. Through the collaboration, the Foundation will participate in AMCIRC membership meetings, events, and activities, with both organisations exchanging information, insights, and ideas to support their respective policy and circular economy initiatives.

“We’re glad to welcome the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s expertise and global perspective into AMCIRC’s work. Their research and systems-level thinking on circularity have shaped this field for over a decade, and we look forward to finding practical ways to advance shared goals for US textile policy together,” said Rachel Kibbe, founder and CEO of American Circular Textiles.
The Ellen MacArthur Foundation is a global charity accelerating the transition to a circular economy, one that eliminates waste, keeps materials in use, and regenerates nature to create a resilient system that benefits business, people, and the environment.
Launched in 2010, the Foundation is driving implementation of the circular economy at scale to address today’s most pressing challenges. Its ambition is to deliver systemic change in the areas of critical minerals, fashion and textiles, and plastics, by 2030.
“We are thrilled to be formally joining AMCIRC as an Insights Partner. Their work to educate companies and key US stakeholders on textile policy, as well as their commitment to progressing the conditions that will enable circularity, are critical to the field. We’re glad to be collaborating with them to drive circularity in fashion and textiles at a national level,” said Danielle Holly, Executive Lead North America, Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
AMCIRC convenes stakeholders across retail, resale, recycling, repair, manufacturing, and technology to support the growth of domestic circular textile systems and strengthen US competitiveness in the evolving global textile economy.
