FRANCE: Hermes Revenues Rise 6.8 Per Cent
French luxury goods firm Hermes International SA on Monday posted a 6.8 per cent jump in first-quarter revenues to 301.8 million euros, up from 282.5 million euros in the year-ago period. The company said in a news release that on a pro-forma basis, it enjoyed growth of nine per cent and revealed income had been boosted by a 22 per cent year-on-year rise in sales at its leather unit.
