FRANCE: Weak Economy Hits Lectra’s Results
Paris-based Lectra, a leading software and hardware designer and supplier to the textile and leather industries, has reported a 10 per cent slide in first quarter revenues compared to the year-ago period. The company said revenues to March 31 fell to 41.9 million euros from 46.5 million euros in 2001 in a weak global economy and that its net loss narrowed to 1.1 million euros from 2.7 million euros.
