Sportswear giant Adidas has been chosen to join the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the 11th consecutive time.
The index, which tracks the sustainability and corporate responsibility of leading companies around the world, also named Adidas as leader of the clothing, accessories and footwear category for the eighth time running.
The annual DJSI review is based on an analysis of corporate economic, environmental and social performance, assessing issues such as corporate governance, risk management, branding, climate change mitigation, supply chain standards and labour practices.
