  • Denmark’s Spectre Garment Technologies Company Limited has opened a factory in Vietnam’s northern province of Nam Dinh to produce outdoor sportswear. The factory, covering an area of 7,000 sq.m, has a total investment capital of over US$5m.   • Pakistan’s value-added textile sector has urged the government to clear billions of rupees in refund claims under the technology up-gradation fund (TUF) that has been stuck for the past two years. TUF was introduced under the textile policy for 2009-2014, while the industry was asked to submit refund claims till 31 August, 2015.
