US apparel giant VF Corp has appointed Gloria Schoch as director of VF Foundation and Global Impact to further drive the company’s purpose-led agenda.
Formerly director of community affairs for Molson Coors Brewing Company, Schoch led corporate social responsibility programmes, external communications and cause marketing campaigns to drive social and environmental initiatives in the areas of civic leadership, economic empowerment and water stewardship.
In her new role, she will oversee and implement the VF Foundation’s strategic vision to support non-profit organisations that drive movements of sustainable and active lifestyles, including movements that enable conservation and stewardship, education and workforce development, and the advancement of human and organisational endeavours in the context of inclusion, equity and diversity. She will also work across the organisation to support alignment around how VF defines and measures global impact.
