Swiss specialty textile chemistry company HeiQ is expanding its global footprint with new subsidiaries in China and Taiwan.
The company, which produces and sells textile finishing and other auxiliaries for apparel and fashion products, says the new HeiQ Shanghai and HeiQ Taiwan offices broaden its geographical reach in the Greater China area and will enable it to provide rapid support to customers. It already has a HeiQ Hong Kong office.
Celine Huang has been named chief executive officer for HeiQ Greater China, and Ming Wen Liang is chief executive officer at HeiQ Taiwan.
Huang has a background as general manager of a large player in the same industry, and over 20 years of testing lab, agent and country strategies management expertise. While Liang will manage mill relations, technical support and distribution at HeiQ Taiwan, bringing almost 20 years of experience in the textile and garment production supply chain to the role.
“With the creation of HeiQ China and HeiQ Taiwan, we add more depth and speed to our team,” says HeiQ’s co-founder and group CEO, Carlo Centonze.
HeiQ’s technologies include HeiQ Smart Temp, which provides fabrics with the ability to interact with body temperature and dynamically respond to body heat; HeiQ Eco Dry non-PFC based stain repellent; and HeiQ Fresh odour-preventing textile treatments.
